The recently completed route survey for alignment of the proposed 61.69km Ara-Ballia railway link has drawn criticism from the Barharan population. According to BJP MLA Raghvendra Pratap Singh, during a meeting on Sunday, the populace agreed to start an agitation to demand that Mahuli Ghat and Jayaprakash Narayan's birthplace (Jayaprakash Nagar in the Shitab Diara district) be included in the recently completed survey. Trains will stop at Ara, Jagjivan halt, Masadh, Dhamar, Umraonganj, and Dhamwal (all in Bhojpur district), Nainijor in Buxar district, and Kripalpur and Sohilpur in Ballia district, per the survey conducted for the proposed railway line (Uttar Pradesh). The Ara-Ballia railway line should travel via Mahuli ghat and Jayaprakash Nagar, Singh said in a statement to TOI on Wednesday. "Before the survey started, I had met the railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and requested him to do so. In addition, since there is no other way for residents of our area to travel to Ballia, a railroad bridge is also essential. There are already enough bridges over the Ganga in the Buxar district, but Mahuli Ghat desperately needs a railroad bridge and a line that runs all the way to Ballia. If our demand is granted, residents in nearby villages like Basantpur, where the famous mathematician Vashishtha Narayan Singh was born, will also profit. https://mcdvoiceo.com https://tellthebellx.com https://tellculverse.com https://tellmazzios.net https://bjsfeedback.net https://ipizzaranchfeedback.com https://iarbyswemakeitright.com https://ifonduesurvey.com https://dgcustomerfirsto.com https://ipandaguestexperience.com https://krogerfeedbacka.com https://biglotscomsurvey.com https://biglotscomsurvey.com "I will again see the railway minister, the power minister, and Ballia BJP MP Virendra Singh to urge for their demand," the Barhara MLA continued. It was resolved by everybody present at a meeting convened on Sunday at Bhikam Das Mathiya's Barhara headquarters to send a 10-person delegation to demand a new survey.
